In 2010 I was hired to be Katie Couric’s digital strategist at CBS News. The experience afforded me exposure to broadcast television and how social media could be used to break down the fourth wall. Through it all I picked upĀ important lessons around the unique complement Twitter is to TV.

Here is an article my hometown newspaper wrote about my work at CBS News. It was a wonderful experience and I’m grateful to Katie Couric for taking a meeting with me and opening the door to hire me. It was an experience that has truly shaped my ideas and efforts to support the future of journalism.
